SPECIAL SENSORY STORY TIME AT GARDINER LIBRARY
The Gardiner Library will present a special sensory story time on Saturday October 26 from 10 to 11 AM. Space is limited and preregistration is required. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. The ability to enjoy a simple story time can be challenging for children with sensory processing issues. This story time allows children with a variety of special needs to enjoy a story time tailored to their sensitivities. Participants will listen to stories, play games, do an art project and experience all that a library story time has to offer. Additionally, parents will have an opportunity to meet other special needs community families. This storytime will be led by library employee Heather O'Donnell, M.S.Ed, and Ed.M. Heather holds teaching certificates in both early childhood/general education and early childhood special education, and has many years of experience with children.
To register for this story time, stop by the library at 133 Farmer's Turnpike in Gardiner, NY or call 255-1255. This number may also be used for directions or further information or visit the library's web site www.gardinerlibrary.org
